Murillo, St. Francis Solanus and the Bull

This represents one of the two incidents from Francis Solanus's time in Tucumán Province reported in Navarro's vita (Acta Sanctorum, July vol. 5, 866-67) in which a bull escaped confinement, killed a number of villagers, but then was roped and tamed by the saint.
